Why Use Four Bags Instead of One?

Ice water filtration pulls material through fine mesh screens. Do it in one pass and what you wanted to separate ends up mixed with the contamination. Running several bags with different micron sizes makes separation gradual, so each stage catches a defined fraction - cleaner material from every stage and far less variation between batches.

How to Use

• Stack the bags: place them inside a 5 gallon bucket, smallest micron at the bottom and largest at the top.
• Add ice and water: fill with cold water and ice to keep temperatures low.
• Add plant material: place it into the work bag.
• Agitate gently: stir to let separation happen through the mesh screens.
• Drain and collect: lift each bag out in sequence and collect the material.
• Clean thoroughly: rinse in cold water and air dry after use.
• Keep it cold: colder water improves separation and keeps plant matter out of the mesh.
