Vortex Floor Fans are compact, high-velocity circulation fans designed to sit on the floor of a grow room, conservatory or greenhouse and keep air constantly moving across the canopy rather than exhausting it out of the space. Where an inline fan handles extraction, a floor fan's job is internal circulation — breaking up the pockets of warm, humid, still air that gather around lights and dense foliage even when extraction is working perfectly.

Each fan has an industrial-style build with a chrome metal frame and handle, a mesh safety cradle over the blades, and rubber feet on the base to keep it planted solidly on the floor while also cutting down on vibration noise. The head tilts so airflow can be angled up into the canopy or across a bench of trays, and three speed settings give enough range to run gently during propagation or full-power once a canopy has filled out and needs serious air movement to stop mould and hot spots forming. The compact footprint and carry handle make it easy to move a fan between rooms or reposition it as a canopy develops through the grow.

Running one or more floor fans alongside extraction is one of the simplest ways to stop still-air pockets forming, particularly in taller tents or rooms where a single inline fan alone cannot keep the whole canopy moving.
