Description
Automated drip feeding for eight or ten plants in a compact footprint
The Wilma Small Wide Origin is a complete recirculating drip system on a 120 x 60cm tray that feeds up to 10 plants in 6-litre pots (Small Wide Origin 10) or 8 plants in 11-litre pots (Small Wide Origin 8) automatically from a shared 85-litre reservoir, combining the flexibility of individual pots with the precision of timed hydroponic feeding. Nutrient solution is delivered straight to each root zone at set intervals, so plants get consistent moisture, oxygen and feed instead of the feast-and-famine cycle hand watering creates. Ideal for grow tents and grow rooms running clay pebbles or other inert media, it stays low-maintenance for beginners and seasoned growers alike.
Key Benefits
- Feeds up to 10 plants from one 85-litre reservoir with timed drip irrigation (8 on the 11-litre layout)
- 10 x 6L pots (or 8 x 11L) plus reservoir, support tray, pump and dripper system included
- Two dripper types in the box - blue flood drippers at around 40 L/h for clay pebbles and black 2 L/h arrow drippers for coco, soil and rockwool
- Independent pots that can be moved, rotated or replaced under the light without disturbing the rest of the system
- Automated watering cuts daily maintenance and keeps moisture consistent
- Stronger roots and uptake - regular oxygen-rich feeds drive vigorous growth
- Works with clay pebbles and other inert media
- Easy to assemble, clean and maintain, and simple to top up between changes
How to Use
- Assemble the Wilma system following the supplied instructions.
- Fill the reservoir with fresh water and add your chosen hydroponic nutrients.
- Adjust to the correct EC and a pH of 5.5-6.2.
- Fill each pot with your inert medium, such as clay pebbles, and transplant.
- Connect the drippers and switch on the pump to feed each pot.
- Set the irrigation timer to suit your medium, plant size and conditions.
- Monitor the reservoir, topping up and replacing the solution every 1-2 weeks.

Frequently Asked Questions
Should I fit the blue or the black drippers?
Use the blue flood drippers, which run at around 40 L/h, for free-draining clay pebbles and let the run-off recirculate back to the tank. Use the black 2 L/h arrow drippers for soil, coco, rockwool and mixed media, and keep run-off to a minimum. Both types come in the kit.
Do I need a timer?
Yes. The pump is switched by a timer, which is not included. A 24-hour segmental timer with 15-minute settings suits most growers; start small plants on two or three feeds across the lights-on period and add feeds as the plants grow.
Which layout should I choose, 10 x 6L or 8 x 11L?
Both use the same 120 x 60cm footprint and reservoir; only the top tray's pot slots differ. Ten 6-litre pots suit more, smaller plants or short crops; eight 11-litre pots give each plant almost twice the root volume for bigger plants and longer crops.
How do I mix nutrients in the tank?
After a nutrient change, open the tap on the delivery pipe and run the pump by hand for a couple of minutes. The solution circulates back into the tank and mixes evenly before you check EC and pH.
How do I stop the drippers blocking?
Run a dripper and line cleaner in the tank from the first day of the crop so scale and residue cannot build up, and flush the lines and drippers with clean water between crops.
