Description
Strong, Quiet Canopy Airflow You Aim Exactly Where It Is Needed
The AC Infinity CloudRay Manual Clip Fan is the fixed-head CloudRay: the same brushless EC motor, 10 speeds and 10 dynamic wind modes as the oscillating models, with a head you swivel and tilt by hand instead of an automatic oscillation drive. The A6 moves up to 552 m³/h (325 CFM) from a 6-inch blade at 31 dBA, and the A9 up to 688 m³/h (405 CFM) from a 9-inch blade at 35 dBA, each drawing only 7.5 W. It clamps to a tent pole with a metal vise grip and is IP-54 rated for humid grow spaces.
Key Benefits
- Up to 552 m³/h (A6) or 688 m³/h (A9) to keep the whole canopy moving
- 10 speeds and 10 dynamic wind modes — a gentle breeze for seedlings up to a strong flow in flowering
- Manual swivel head — aim it under or across the canopy and it stays put
- Long-life EC motor — brushless, carbon steel gears and dual-ball bearings, rated to 67,000 hours
- IP-54 and ETL certified for continuous running in heat and humidity
- UIS-compatible — app control, climate triggers and timers through a Controller 69 PRO, 69 PRO+ or AI+ (sold separately)
Still Air, Soft Stems and Damp Pockets
In a closed grow tent the air around the leaves goes still: humidity builds in the lower canopy, leaves run short of fresh CO2 and stems grow soft and thin. Those damp, stagnant pockets are where powdery mildew and grey mould get going. A clip fan moving air across the canopy breaks up that microclimate, evens out temperature and humidity, and gives stems the movement that toughens them.
How to Use
- Mount it: clamp it to a tent pole at or just above canopy height.
- Aim it: angle the head so air passes across and through the plants; leaves should flutter, not whip.
- Set the speed: low for seedlings and cuttings, higher as plants fill out.
- Bigger tents: fit two fans in opposite corners for a circular airflow.
- Automate: connect the UIS lead to an AC Infinity controller to change speed with temperature, humidity or a schedule.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the CloudRay A models and the S models?
The A6 and S6 share a 6-inch blade and up to 552 m³/h; the A9 and S9 share a 9-inch blade and up to 688 m³/h, all with 10 speeds and 10 wind modes. The A models have a manual swivel head and draw 7.5 W; the S models add automatic oscillation across 10 ranges and draw 11 W.
Do I need an AC Infinity controller to use it?
No. It runs on its own with its 10 speeds and wind modes. Plugging it into a UIS controller such as the Controller 69 PRO or AI+ adds app control, climate triggers and timers.
Can I mount it on a wall or upside down?
Yes. AC Infinity rate it for horizontal or vertical mounting, and its dual-ball bearings are designed to run in any orientation.
Is it suitable for a humid grow room?
Yes. The housing is IP-54 rated and the fan is specified for 35 to 85% RH and 0 to 60°C, so it can run continuously in a warm, humid tent.
