Most of the noise from an inline fan is not air — it is vibration travelling into the ducting and out through whatever the duct touches. The AC Infinity Noise Reduction Clamp is a nitrile rubber coupler that sits between the fan and the filter, or between fan and duct, and breaks that path.
Two stainless steel worm-drive clamps pull the rubber down onto each flange for an airtight seal, so isolating the vibration does not cost you any static pressure. They take a Phillips or a flat head, so whatever is in the drawer will do.
