Dutch Formula Grow is the nitrogen-led component of Advanced Hydroponics of Holland's three-part base nutrient, used alongside Bloom and Micro rather than on its own. It's formulated to support the vegetative and early development stage specifically - building the structural foundation, healthy foliage and root system that the plant will draw on once it moves into flower.
As with the rest of the Dutch Formula range, it's designed to work across growing media rather than being hydro-specific: the same mineral components suit run-to-waste and recirculating hydroponic systems, coco and soil alike, mixed with water to the manufacturer's dosage schedule for the relevant stage. Because it's part of a deliberately separated three-part system rather than a two-part blend, growers get finer control over the N-P-K ratio at each stage than a fixed-ratio grow/bloom pair allows.
Run Dutch Formula Grow through the vegetative stage, tapering off as the plant transitions into its flowering phase and Bloom's higher-phosphorus profile takes over as the dominant component of the feed.
