AutoPot Pipe is the hose AutoPot supply with their gravity-fed watering systems, sold by the roll so you can extend a layout, re-pipe a system between grows or replace pipe that has become kinked or stained. Pick the size your system uses. 9mm pipe runs to every AQUAvalve5 on systems sold since August 2020; it is co-extruded for durability, resists light and is marked every metre for easy cutting. 16mm pipe is the larger supply main AutoPot use from the reservoir on bigger systems – 1Pot and easy2grow systems of eight pots or more, and XL, XL FlexiPot and XXL systems of six or more – with 16-9mm reducers feeding each module. 6mm pipe is the black hose for older AutoPot systems with the original AQUAvalve and 6mm fittings.

How to Use
- Match the pipe to the fittings: 9mm pipe with 9mm and 16-9mm fittings (AQUAvalve5), 6mm with 6mm and 16-6mm fittings, 16mm with 16mm fittings.
- Cut square with sharp cutters, and dip the pipe end in hot water for a few seconds before pushing it on – it softens and slides on easily.
- To take a system apart, dip the joint in hot water and pull the pipe straight off the nozzle rather than twisting it.
- Keep the lines clean by opening the end-of-line taps into a bucket for 30–60 seconds once a week.

Which pipe does my AutoPot system use?
Everything AutoPot have sold since August 2020 uses the AQUAvalve5 with 9mm pipe, plus 16mm supply pipe on larger systems. If your valves are the older original AQUAvalve with thin black pipe, you need the 6mm roll.
Can I mix 6mm and 9mm pipe?
Yes, with the right adaptor - AutoPot make a 9mm-6mm reducing straight connector, and 16-6mm and 16-9mm fittings for joining either size to a 16mm main.
When do I need 16mm pipe as well as 9mm?
AutoPot run a 16mm main from the reservoir on 1Pot XL, XL FlexiPot and XXL systems of six pots or more, and on 1Pot and easy2grow systems of eight pots or more, with 16-9mm reducer fittings feeding 9mm pipe to each module. Smaller systems run on 9mm alone.
