BioBizz Pre-Mix is a dry organic fertiliser that combines several organic fertilisers, rock meals, trace elements and beneficial fungi in one balanced blend, at NPK 3-3-5 on the label. Blended into soil or a soilless mix it raises the nutrient value and organic matter of light substrates and adds microbial life to the root zone. BioBizz recommend it as a starter or transplant fertiliser, for giving a light potting mix more strength, and for recharging a substrate you want to reuse, alongside the BioBizz liquid feeds through growth and flowering.

When a Light Mix Runs Out of Food
Light, seedling-grade mixes are deliberately low in nutrients so they do not burn young roots, but once plants are potted on they need more than the substrate can give. Under-fed roots show it as slow growth, pale leaves, weak root development and plants that sit still after transplant shock. A dry organic feed blended through the new substrate gives roots something to grow into from day one and keeps the soil biology fed, so the liquid feeds you add later go further and nutrient uptake stays steady.
How to Use
- Light substrates (such as BioBizz Light-Mix): blend in about 5% Pre-Mix by volume – roughly 0.5 L per 10 L of substrate
- Transplanting: mix it through the fresh soil before potting on, as a starter fertiliser
- Extra life: combine with high-quality worm castings to add microbes and fortify the mix
- Mix evenly through the whole volume, then water in
- Store sealed in a cool, dry, dark place; wear gloves, avoid breathing the dust and keep out of reach of children
