BioGreen Hydro A+B – Two-Part Base Feed for All Media

One two-part base that runs in soil, coco and hydro alike

Biogreen Hydro A+B is a concentrated two-part base feed for the whole cycle, from the first week of vegetative growth to the end of flowering. The name says hydro, but Biogreen specify it as a base nutrient for every growing medium — it runs in soil, in coco and in every inert system, with only the dose changing. Both halves are made from 100% pure raw materials, and between them they carry a complete macro and micro profile: Part A is the nitrogen, calcium and magnesium half at NPK 4.3-0-0, and Part B is the phosphorus, potassium and trace-element half at NPK 0.6-5.2-5.7. They are used in equal measure.

Why It Comes in Two Bottles, and Why That Matters

Part A holds the calcium. Part B holds the phosphate. Put those two together at concentrate strength and they form calcium phosphate, which drops out of solution as a white sludge — the nutrient is then in the bottom of the tank rather than in the plant. That is the entire reason for the split, and it is why the two are only ever combined once they are already diluted in water.

The practical consequence is that each half is the sole source of something the plant cannot do without. Short-measure Part A and you create a calcium and magnesium shortfall — weak roots, interveinal yellowing on older leaves. Short-measure Part B and you lose the phosphorus, the potassium and every trace element at once, which reads as slow growth and poor nutrient uptake that no pH correction will fix. Measure both, every time.

How to Use

• Add Part A to the water first and stir, then add Part B and stir again — never combine the concentrates directly
• Equal portions: whatever rate you use for A, use the same for B
• Soil veg: week 1 0.5ml/L, week 2 1ml/L, week 3 1.5ml/L, week 4 2ml/L
• Soil bloom: week 1 2ml/L, weeks 2-6 2.5ml/L, week 7 2ml/L, weeks 8-9 1ml/L
• Coco and hydro veg: week 1 1ml/L, week 2 1.5ml/L, weeks 3-4 2ml/L
• Hydro bloom: week 1 2.5ml/L, weeks 2-7 3ml/L, weeks 8-9 2ml/L
• Coco bloom: week 1 2.5ml/L, then follow your usual coco schedule
• Then set pH once the feed is fully mixed, not partway, and watch EC as the plants drink it down
