BioGreen Soil A&B Feed Chart – Doses, EC and pH
BioGreen's own published Soil A&B schedule. If your base feed is two bottles marked Part A and Part B, this is your chart — if it is a single bottle marked Grow 1 or Bloom 2, you want BioGreen's other soil chart instead. Week by week, in millilitres per one litre of water.

Every figure is millilitres per one litre of water. Multiply by ten for a 10-litre watering can — so 2.5ml here is 25ml in a full 10-litre can. A dash means the bottle is not used that week.
Getting it right
- Check which base feed you actually own before you use this chart. BioGreen publish two soil schedules. This one is for the two-part A&B feed, where Part A and Part B come in separate bottles at the same dose. The other soil schedule is for the single-bottle Grow 1 and Bloom 2 line and runs different figures, including a weekly Calgel dose that this chart does not have.
- These are per-litre doses, not per ten litres. Read the figure, then multiply by the number of litres in the can. 2.5ml becomes 25ml in a 10-litre can and 12.5ml in a 5-litre can.
- This is the gentlest of BioGreen's three A&B charts. Soil starts at 0.5ml and peaks at 2.5ml. The coco and hydro charts start at 1ml and peak at 3ml. Soil holds nutrient between waterings, so do not borrow the coco figures for a soil pot.
- Add Part A and Part B separately. One goes into the water, then the other. Never pour one concentrate into the other bottle or into a can that is not yet full.
- PK 13/14 and X-Blast are not run together. BioGreen print that instruction on the chart: PK 13/14 at Flower 3 and Flower 4, X-Blast from Flower 5 onwards. The grid shows both against the later columns, so pick one.
- X-Force is measured in fractions of a millilitre. 0.1ml from Cutting 1 to Grow 4, 0.15ml from Flower 1 to Flower 9. That is 1ml and 1.5ml in a 10-litre can. A syringe is the only sensible way to measure it.
- Calgel carries no weekly dose on this chart. BioGreen give one instruction instead: if your tap water reads below EC 0.6, add Calgel until it reaches 0.6.
- The base feed tails off before the final week. It drops from 2.5ml to 2ml at Flower 7 and to 1ml at Flower 8 and Flower 9, and the published EC target falls with it.
- Feed to the EC target for the week. BioGreen publish one for every column: 0.6–0.8 at rooting; 0.8–1.0, 1.0–1.2 and 1.2–1.4 through veg; then 1.4–1.6, 1.6–1.8, 1.8–2.0, 1.8–2.0, 1.9–2.1, 1.9–2.1 and 1.6–1.8 through flowering; 1.4–1.6 at Flower 8 and Flower 9; and 0.0–0.8 in the final plain-water week.
- Keep the pH between 5.8 and 6.2. Check it once everything is mixed — the additives move it.

Common questions
How do I know this is my chart and not the other BioGreen soil one?
Look at the base feed. Two bottles labelled Part A and Part B, dosed together at the same rate, means this chart. One bottle labelled Grow 1 for veg and a second labelled Bloom 2 for flower means the other soil chart, which also runs a weekly Calgel dose. Both sit in the feed chart index.
Can I use the coco figures in soil?
No. The BioGreen coco chart and the hydro chart both start the base feed at 1ml and peak at 3ml. This soil chart starts at 0.5ml and peaks at 2.5ml, and its EC targets are lower all the way through.
What does 2.5ml per litre mean in my watering can?
Multiply by the number of litres. A 10-litre can needs 25ml of Part A and 25ml of Part B; a 5-litre can needs 12.5ml of each.
Do I use PK 13/14 or X-Blast?
One or the other, never both. BioGreen print it on the chart: PK 13/14 at Flower 3 and Flower 4, then X-Blast from Flower 5 onwards.
Why is there no Calgel dose on this chart?
BioGreen replace it with a rule. If your tap water reads below EC 0.6, add Calgel until the mix reaches 0.6, then start the feed. Only the Grow 1 and Bloom 2 soil chart gives Calgel a weekly figure.
