CaMg runs at 3–5ml per gallon (8–13ml per 10 litres) alongside Bloom. PK is published across the flower weeks as 4, 6, 9, 10, 12, 10, 10ml per gallon. For the 700 scale, multiply the EC by 700 instead — Athena print both.
Getting it right
- Balance goes in last, not first. Mix to your target EC with fertiliser, then add Balance in 1ml per 4 litre steps until you hit target pH — and write down how much it took. It is a pH-up product, not a water conditioner.
- Mixing order, straight off the chart: Balance, Grow B, Grow A, Bloom B, Bloom A, PK, CaMg, Cleanse.
- Cleanse goes in every single feed, at every stage. It keeps lines and emitters clean, which is why it never tapers.
- Pre-soak the medium. Coco at pH 5.5–5.8 and EC 3.5–4.0; rockwool at pH 5.0–5.5 and EC 2.5–3.0.
- The finish does not taper. At week 8 swap Core for Fade at 19ml per gallon, keep Bloom running, and feed at full EC — Athena print “DO NOT TAPER EC” in capitals. Then flush with RO and Cleanse at 10ml per gallon: one day in rockwool, up to three in coco.
- Athena's own warning: Blended Balance must not be used in venturi systems such as the NetaFlex — it may clog them. Batch tanks and Dosatron are fine.

Common questions
Blended or Pro — which should I buy?
Blended is liquid and mixes straight into a tank, which suits most tents and small rooms. Pro is a powder you mix into a concentrate first, and it pays off when you are filling large reservoirs regularly. The nutrition is Athena's either way.
Where is the Pro Line chart?
Athena publish the Pro schedules as downloads on their own help centre rather than as a web page. Their Pro Line page is here. Note their imperial and metric versions assume different concentrate dilutions.
Athena's EC looks high next to other brands.
It is, deliberately. Athena hold a steady EC and vary what the plant receives through irrigation frequency rather than tank strength. Coming from a brand that ramps, move gradually and watch runoff.
What if my run is longer than nine weeks?
Athena's answer is to repeat the formula for a longer veg, and their chart note says to adjust the schedule to the number of weeks your run actually takes.
