Future Harvest Holland Secret feed chart – Micro, Grow and Bloom doses per litre, Grow 1 to Flower 8
  • All dosesper 1 litre
  • pH5.8 – 6.3
  • Base feedHolland Secret Micro, Grow and Bloom

Every figure is millilitres per one litre of water. A 10-litre can takes ten times the figure, so Bloom at 5.25ml per litre is 52.5ml.

Getting it right

  • Micro always goes in first. Then Grow or Bloom, with time to mix between each product. Future Harvest ask for the pH to be held at 5.8–6.3 while you mix.
  • Hard water changes the Micro. If your tap water reads EC 0.4–0.7, Future Harvest swap Micro for their Hard Water Micro. Above EC 0.7, use Hard Water Micro and leave Calnesium out.
  • There are six grow weeks. Future Harvest publish six vegetative weeks, so the chart runs Grow 1 to Grow 6 before Flower 1. For a longer veg, repeat Grow 6. For a longer flowering, repeat Flower 8.
  • Micro sits between 1 and 2ml all the way. 1ml, 1.25ml and 1.5ml at Grow 1 to Grow 3, then 2ml to Grow 6. 1.5ml at Flower 1, 1.75ml at Flower 2 and Flower 3, 2ml from Flower 4 to Flower 6, and 1.5ml at Flower 7 and Flower 8.
  • Grow peaks before the switch. 1.25ml, 1.75ml, 2.5ml and 3ml, then 3.5ml at Grow 5 and Grow 6. It drops to 0.75ml from Flower 1 to Flower 5, 0.5ml at Flower 6, and 0.25ml at Flower 7 and Flower 8.
  • Bloom does the opposite. 0.5ml at Grow 1, 0.75ml at Grow 2 and Grow 3, 1ml to Grow 6. Then 2.25ml from Flower 1 to Flower 3, 4.25ml at Flower 4 and Flower 5, 4.75ml at Flower 6, and 5.25ml at Flower 7 and Flower 8.
  • Calnesium steps up twice. 0.4ml through all six grow weeks, 0.6ml at Flower 1 and Flower 2, then 1.25ml from Flower 3 to Flower 8.
  • Super B+ and Royal Gold run every week. Super B+ is 1.5ml through grow and 2ml through flower. Royal Gold is 1.75ml at Grow 1 to Grow 3, 2.25ml at Grow 4 to Grow 6, and 2.75ml right through flowering.
  • Plantacillin and Carbo Blast build up together. Both are 0.5ml from Grow 1 to Grow 4 and 1ml at Grow 5 and Grow 6. In flower, Plantacillin holds at 1.5ml and Carbo Blast at 2ml.
  • Prop-O-Gator stops halfway through flowering. 1.25ml from Grow 1 to Grow 4, 2.5ml at Grow 5 and Grow 6, 2.75ml at Flower 1, 2.5ml at Flower 2, then 1.25ml at Flower 3 and Flower 4. Nothing after that.
  • Ton O Bud hands over to Bud Boom. Ton O Bud is 2ml at Flower 4 and Flower 5 only. Bud Boom follows at 2ml from Flower 6 to Flower 8. Both are the liquid versions, and so is Carbo Blast.
  • Too strong? Scale back. Future Harvest's suggested EC rises from 1.0–1.4 at Grow 1 to 2.2–3.0 at Flower 4 and Flower 5. If you see tip burn or lock-up, they say to cut every measurement by 10–20%.

Common questions

Is this per litre or per 10 litres?

Per one litre. Bloom at 5.25ml means 5.25ml in a 1-litre jug, or 52.5ml in a 10-litre can.

Can I use this chart in soil or coco?

This is Future Harvest's hydroponic schedule. They publish a separate one for soil, coco and soilless mixes, with Calnesium dosed differently by medium and Royal Black added. Follow that for those growing media.

Liquid or powder Carbo Blast, Ton O Bud and Bud Boom?

Liquid. Every figure on this chart is in millilitres, for the liquid versions. The powders run on Future Harvest's separate Easy Plus schedule, dosed by weight.

How do I feed cuttings?

Future Harvest feed cuttings at a quarter of the Grow 1 rates of Micro, Grow and Bloom, with Super B+ and Prop-O-Gator, until they root.

Do I need every additive?

No. Micro, Grow and Bloom are the feed and will grow a crop on their own. The other eight are add-ons, each with its own weeks on the chart.

Why does the chart restart at 1 when flowering starts?

Future Harvest number six vegetative weeks and eight flowering weeks: Grow 1 to Grow 6, then Flower 1 to Flower 8.
