Grotek Solo-Tek feed chart – Grow and Bloom doses per 4 litres with additives and EC, Grow 1 to Flower 8
  • All dosesper 4 litres
  • EC0.6 – 2.2 in RO water
  • Base feedSolo-Tek Grow, then Solo-Tek Bloom

Every figure is per 4 litres of water. Divide by four for a 1-litre jug, or multiply by two and a half for a 10-litre can: Solo-Tek Bloom at 8ml becomes 20ml. Monster Bloom is a powder and is weighed in grams.

Getting it right

  • Per 4 litres, not per litre. Every dose on the chart is for 4 litres of water: Solo-Tek Bloom at 8ml in 4 litres is the same strength as 2ml in a litre.
  • Feed once a week. That is Grotek's own tip, with 10–15% run-off.
  • Solo-Tek Grow builds over four weeks. 2ml at Grow 1, 4ml at Grow 2, then 8ml at Grow 3 and Grow 4.
  • Solo-Tek Bloom holds steady. 8ml every week from Flower 1 to Flower 7. One bottle, one rate.
  • Bud Fuel Pro bridges the switch. 4ml at Grow 4, 8ml from Flower 1 to Flower 3, then 4ml at Flower 4.
  • Monster Bloom and Heavy Bud Pro share the late weeks. Monster Bloom is 0.4g at Flower 4, 0.8g at Flower 5, and 0.4g at Flower 6 and Flower 7. Heavy Bud Pro runs 4ml, 11ml, 11ml and 8ml across the same four weeks.
  • Vitamax Pro goes in every week but the last. 4ml from Grow 1 to Flower 7.
  • Choose one silicon, not both. Pro-Silicate runs 1ml, 2ml, then 4ml from Grow 3 to Flower 7. GroSilic runs 0.3ml, 0.5ml, then 1ml from Grow 3 to Flower 2, 1.2ml at Flower 3 and Flower 4, and 0.5ml at Flower 5 and Flower 6. Both raise pH, so pre-dilute them in water if they go in after the other feeds.
  • Final Flush has the last column to itself. 7.5ml at Flower 8, and nothing else on the chart that week. Grotek make it to clear built-up salts and unused nutrients from the root zone.
  • The EC row assumes RO water. Grotek's figures start at 0.6, peak at 2.2 at Flower 5, and are measured on reverse osmosis water. Tap water starts higher, so expect your readings to sit above the row.
  • Cal-Max is optional. Grotek suggest it for plants with a high calcium and magnesium demand, at about 1–2ml per litre.

Common questions

Is this per litre or per 4 litres?

Per 4 litres. Solo-Tek Bloom at 8ml means 8ml in 4 litres of water: 2ml in a 1-litre jug, or 20ml in a 10-litre can.

Some products on the chart are not in the grid below. Why?

Vitamax Pro, Heavy Bud Pro and GroSilic are part of Grotek's schedule but are not in our range at the moment. Their doses are still on the chart. Vitamax Plus is a different product to Vitamax Pro, so it is not a straight swap.

Can I use Pro-Silicate and GroSilic together?

No. Grotek list them as a choice: use one silicon or the other, at its own rates on the chart.

How often do I feed?

Once a week, with 10–15% run-off. That is the rhythm the whole chart is built around.

What pH should I run?

Grotek do not print a pH target on the Solo-Tek chart. The only pH warning is that both silicon products push it up, so pre-dilute them and check the tank after mixing.

Why does the chart restart at 1 when flowering starts?

Grotek name four stages before flowering: Seeding, Transplant, Vegetative and Pre-Flower, which are Grow 1 to Grow 4 on the chart. Then they number the flowering weeks 1 to 8.
