Read this one per 10 litres, not per litre. Every figure on this chart is millilitres in a full ten-litre watering can. Most feed charts, including most of ours, are written per single litre, so it is an easy one to get wrong. Bloom at 30ml means 30ml in 10 litres — which is 3ml in a 1-litre jug, not 30ml.

Getting it right

• Every figure is per 10 litres. If you mix in a 1-litre jug, divide by ten. If you mix in a 20-litre tank, double it. Feeding this chart at per-litre rates would give a plant ten times what Monkey intend.
• One chart for coco, soil and hydro. Monkey publish a single schedule for all three, on hard or soft water. There is no separate coco version to hunt for.
• Use Monkey Mag Cal in coco. Monkey's own instruction. Coco holds on to calcium and magnesium and gives them back slowly, so a coco grow usually needs both added. Mag Cal is not a row on this chart, so use the dose printed on the bottle.
• Grow AB stops when Bloom starts. Grow runs at 10–20ml per 10 litres for all four vegetative weeks and then comes off. Bloom takes over at Flower 1 and the two never overlap.
• Bloom climbs through flowering. 15–25ml per 10 litres at Flower 1 and 2, 20–30ml at Flower 3 and 4, 25–30ml at Flower 5 and 6, then 25–35ml at Flower 7 and 8.
• Root Shoot covers Grow 1 to Flower 5. 2ml per 10 litres at Grow 1 and 2, then 3ml from Grow 3 all the way through Flower 5. It stops from Flower 6.
• Boost starts at Flower 2. 10ml per 10 litres in that first week, then 20ml every week from Flower 3 to Flower 8.
• Resin is the last six weeks. 10ml per 10 litres from Flower 3 to Flower 8, and nothing before that.
• Stress runs at 2ml the whole way. Same dose every week from Grow 1 to Flower 8. It only stops for the flush.
• There are two EC rows. The standard row climbs from 1.2 at Grow 1 to 2.2 at Flower 7, then eases to 1.9 at Flower 8. Use it as a guide rather than a target.
• The closed room EC row is higher. 1.4 at Grow 1 up to 2.8 at Flower 7. A sealed room with added CO2 lets a plant work harder, so it can take a stronger feed. If your room is an open tent with an extractor pulling fresh air through, use the standard row.
• The humidity row drops as flowering goes on. 70–85% through the four Grow weeks and Flower 1, 60–70% at Flower 2 and 3, 50–60% from Flower 4 to Flower 6, 40–50% at Flower 7, then 40–45% for Flower 8 and the flush. Dry air late on keeps mould out of dense flowers.
• The flush is plain water. Every feed row stops. Only the humidity row still carries a figure, at 40–45%.
• The range is PGR free. Monkey print it on the chart, boosters included.

Common questions

Is this per litre or per 10 litres?

Per ten litres, and it matters. Bloom at 30ml means 30ml in a full 10-litre watering can. In a 1-litre jug that is 3ml.

Do coco, soil and hydro really use the same doses?

Yes. Monkey publish one schedule covering all three, on hard or soft water. The one difference they call out is calcium and magnesium in coco.

Do I need Mag Cal?

In coco, yes — Monkey say to use it. Coco locks up calcium and magnesium, so both usually need adding back. It is not a row on this chart, so follow the dose on the bottle.

Which EC row applies to me?

Use the standard row for a normal tent or room with an extractor. Use the closed room row only if your room is sealed and running added CO2, where plants can take a stronger feed.

Why does the chart restart at 1 when flowering starts?

Growers count flowering from the flip. Ours runs four vegetative weeks as Grow 1 to Grow 4, then eight flowering weeks as Flower 1 to Flower 8, then the flush. The doses are unchanged.

What goes in during the flush?

Plain water. Every feed on the chart stops. Keep humidity at 40–45% while you finish.
