Every figure is millilitres per 10 litres of water. Both Vega and Flores are 1:200 on the label — 50ml per 10 litres. EC total assumes tap water at EC 0.4. Vegetative weeks count from rooting; flower weeks restart at the switch to 12 hours.
Getting it right
- Switch Vega to Flores when flowers form, which Canna put at one to three weeks into 12-hour lighting — not a fixed date. That is why Vega carries on through the stretch above.
- Two different acids. pH- grow in the vegetative stage, pH- bloom in flowering. Set the EC first, then the pH, and dilute the acid before it goes in.
- PK 13/14 for one week only. Canna's Terra paper is blunt: stop phosphate and potassium accumulating.
- Feed at 20–25 °C. Below 15 °C uptake falls away sharply.
- Check the root zone, do not guess. Canna's 1:1.5 extraction after three to five weeks should read EC 1.1–1.3 at pH 5.8–6.2. Higher means salts are stacking up.
- Keep the bottles dark. Light breaks down the iron chelates and grows algae that block drippers.

Common questions
Can I use Terra in coco?
No. Coco holds and releases calcium and potassium quite differently from a potting mix, which is why Canna publish separate charts and separate bottles.
The chart gives a range — which end do I use?
Start at the bottom and work up while watching the EC. Canna's own note is that the chart is a guideline, not a prescription.
Why does the EC drop again at the end?
The plant is taking up less, and leaving the feed high just stacks salts in the mix. The UK chart takes the base feed to zero for the final ripening week — plain water.
Is there a newer Canna chart?
Canna's international site serves a revised version with different rates and Canna Flush in the last two weeks. The chart above is Canna UK's, which matches the bottles sold here.
Figures as published by Canna UK in their Terra grow schedule and information paper, canna-uk.com/downloads. Always read the label on the bottle you own. Canna is a trade mark of its owner.
