Gold Label HydroCoco 60/40 and 80/20 feed chart – 60/40 A and B, Roots, MG and PK doses per litre by week
  • All dosesper 1 litre
  • Base feed0.5–1.5ml, A and B
  • Stages2 weeks veg, 9 flower

Every figure is millilitres per one litre of water. A 10-litre can takes ten times these numbers, so 1.25ml here is 12.5ml in a 10-litre can.

Getting it right

  • Gold Label mark the flowering point on this chart themselves. Their page captions the second week as preparing for the flowering stage and the third as the beginning of it, which is why the columns run Grow 1 to Grow 2 and then Flower 1 to Flower 9. Their coco, hydro and soil schedules switch a week later, so those run three Grow weeks before Flower 1.
  • The chart allows two grow weeks. Flowering doses begin at Flower 1, the third week of the run. If your plants stay in veg for longer than that, you are past the part of the schedule Gold Label publish here.
  • It is a start, change and stop schedule. Gold Label give a dose on the week it begins, then only tell you when it changes or stops — so a figure runs on unchanged in between. The grid above is that schedule filled in for every week.
  • 60/40 A+B is its own bottle. It is blended for a hydrocorn and coco mix and is not the same product as Gold Label Coco A+B or their Hydro A+B. The doses above belong to that bottle and no other.
  • A and B is one dose, twice. At 1.5ml that is 1.5ml of A and 1.5ml of B into the same litre. Add A, stir it in, then add B.
  • There is no Ultra Enzyme dose on this schedule. Gold Label mention it on this page only in their stop lists and never give it a rate for the standard run, so it has no row above and nothing has been filled in for it.
  • Ultra PK opens at Flower 2. 0.25ml to start, doubling to 0.5ml the week after and holding until the base begins to taper.
  • The last two flowering weeks come down. The base holds at 1.5ml through Flower 3 to Flower 7, drops to 1.0ml at Flower 8 and 0.5ml at Flower 9. Ultra MG stops after Flower 7, and the final column is plain water.

Common questions

Does this chart cover the 80/20 mix as well?

Yes. Gold Label publish one schedule for both their 60/40 and 80/20 HydroCoco blends, at the doses shown above.

Which growing medium is this chart for?

Their pre-blended hydrocorn and coco substrate — the Gold Label HydroCoco 60/40 Mix, or the 80/20 version of it.

Where exactly does flowering begin?

On the third week of the run. Gold Label caption the second week as preparing for flowering and the third as the beginning of the flowering stage, so that third week is Flower 1 in the table above and the two before it are Grow 1 and Grow 2.

Why is there no Ultra Enzyme row?

Gold Label never give it a dose on this schedule. It appears on their page only in the lists of what to stop, so no rate has been invented for it here.

Can I use Coco A+B or Hydro A+B in a 60/40 mix instead?

Gold Label sell a separate base for each medium and publish a separate schedule for each. For straight coco or coco/perlite, see the Gold Label Coco feed chart; for pebbles and hydro systems, the Gold Label Hydro feed chart.
