Every figure is millilitres per one litre of water. A 10-litre can takes ten times what you see: BatBoost at 4ml per litre is 40ml in 10 litres.

Getting it right

• This is the all-liquid schedule. Guanokalong publish several. This one uses liquids only. If you also mix their solid feeds into the soil, they say to halve every dose on this chart.
• Skip the feed every third watering. That is Guanokalong's own advice for this schedule. If your watering is automatic, cut every dose by 30% instead.
• Shake the bottles. Guanokalong ask for Kalong Grow and Kalong Bloom to be shaken thoroughly before every use.
• Florizon is the steady one. 0.5ml through all four Grow weeks, then 1ml from Flower 1 to Flower 7. It stops after that.
• Kalong Grow hands over to Kalong Bloom. Kalong Grow runs at 0.5ml through Grow, jumps to 2ml at Flower 1, then 1ml at Flower 2 and 0.5ml at Flower 3. Kalong Bloom comes in at 0.5ml in that same week, climbs to 2ml at Flower 6 and 7, then drops to 1ml and 0.5ml.
• BatBoost builds through flowering. 1ml through Grow, 2ml at Flower 1 and 2, 3ml at Flower 3, 4ml from Flower 4 to Flower 6, then 3ml at Flower 7 and 2ml at Flower 8.
• Seaweed Liquid peaks mid-flower. 2ml every week to Flower 3, 3ml at Flower 4, 4ml from Flower 5 to Flower 7, then 3ml and 2ml. It is the one row on the chart we do not stock.
• BatBoost or Extract. Guanokalong list Extract as an alternative to BatBoost in that row. Extract carries its own dosing on its label, so follow that if you use it.
• On Complete Mix soil, start lower. Guanokalong say to cut the growth-phase doses by a little under half if you grow in their Complete Mix substrate.
• Same bottles, our name. Kalong Grow and Kalong Bloom are sold here as Guanokalong Organic Grow and Organic Bloom.

Common questions

Is this per litre or per 10 litres?

Per litre. BatBoost at 4ml means 4ml in a 1-litre jug, or 40ml in a 10-litre can.

Can I use this in hydro?

Guanokalong write this schedule for light soil and coco coir. They do not give a hydro version of it.

What are Kalong Grow and Kalong Bloom?

Guanokalong's liquid grow and bloom feeds, made from sugar molasses rather than guano. On our shelves they are Guanokalong Organic Grow and Organic Bloom.

I already use Guanokalong Powder. Does that change anything?

Yes. Guanokalong say to halve these liquid doses when you combine them with their solid feeds.

Do I need all five products?

No. Florizon with Kalong Grow and Kalong Bloom is the feed. Seaweed Liquid and BatBoost are boosters on top.

Why does Flower start again at week 1?

Guanokalong number it that way themselves: growth weeks 1 to 4, then flowering weeks from 1.
