Every figure is millilitres per 10 litres of water. Vega and Flores are per part — the same amount of A and of B. Vega is 1:500 on the label (20ml each), Flores 1:333 (30ml each).
Getting it right
- Aqua is the one you do not keep pH-ing. It carries pH stabilisers, and Canna's wording is plain: “it is not necessary to adjust the pH levels after setting it initially.” Set 5.2–5.3 on hard water, 5.8–6.2 on RO or soft. Step in only below 5.0 or above 6.4 for several days.
- At least 5 litres of reservoir per plant, renewed every 7 to 14 days — every 5 to 7 in recirculating drip systems.
- Top up at a quarter to a half used, with a solution about half strength. Use plain water where the loss is evaporation.
- A falling pH is a switch signal. If the circulating pH heads below 5.0–5.2, move Vega to Flores.
- Keep the solution near 20 °C. Pythium runs fastest above 25 °C, and below 15 °C uptake falls away. An air pump can push the pH up.
- Two pumps. One failure should not leave the plants dry. And never mix A and B neat.

Common questions
Aqua or Hydro — what is the difference?
Aqua is for recirculating systems where the same solution goes round again. Hydro is for run-to-waste. They are not interchangeable and Canna publish a separate chart for each.
Do I really not need to pH it daily?
That is Canna's own position for Aqua, because of the stabilisers in the formulation. Watch it rather than chase it.
How often should I dump and refill?
Every 7 to 14 days under normal circumstances, and every 5 to 7 days in recirculating drip systems.
Is there a newer Canna chart?
Canna's international site serves a revised version, and for Aqua it assumes tap water at EC 0.2 rather than 0.4. The chart above is Canna UK's, which matches the bottles sold here.
Figures as published by Canna UK in their Aqua grow schedule and information paper, canna-uk.com/downloads. Always read the label on the bottle you own. Canna is a trade mark of its owner.
