Prop-O-Gator is a plant food for roots — an all-in-one root stimulator and fertilising agent that can be used as a stand-alone product for cuttings and clones. Vigorous root growth in the earliest stages of a plant's life is essential to prepare it for transplanting or planting out, and Prop-O-Gator is built specifically for that job, stimulating rooting while feeding the young plant at the same time.
It is deliberately low in nitrogen, which helps keep cuttings and young plants short and compact while they establish roots, rather than pushing premature top growth before the plant is ready for it. Growers can continue using Prop-O-Gator right up until they are ready to start a full fertilising programme.
Prop-O-Gator can be used across all grow media and is particularly useful for pre-treating pots before transplanting, giving newly potted cuttings a consistent, well-prepared root zone to grow into.
