Algae-based root stimulation for faster-striking cuttings

Canna Rhizotonic is an algae-based vegetative root stimulator packed with over 60 microbiological substances, trace elements and hormones that drive new root growth in cuttings and potted plants. Used mainly as a foliar spray, it helps cuttings root quickly and with less stress, and doubles as a reservoir tonic for established plants. It's alkaline-based, so it raises the pH of your solution — check and re-adjust after adding.

Slow-striking cuttings and transplant shock

Cuttings that are slow to root, or plants sulking after being potted on, lack the root-zone activity needed to establish. Rhizotonic's hormones and microbiological blend push new root development while easing stress, so cuttings take and plants recover faster.

How to Use

Foliar spray (cuttings / early growth): 4ml per litre, applied 1-6 times daily during early development
Reservoir tonic (established plants): CANNA taper the root feed — 4ml per litre for the first dose and after every re-pot, 2ml per litre through vegetative growth, then 0.5ml per litre once flowering starts
pH: alkaline-based — check and re-adjust reservoir pH after adding

Note — CANNA publish the root-feed rates as 40, 20 and 5 ml per 10 litres, tapering as the plant moves from the first dose through vegetative growth into flower — so the 4 ml per litre figure is a first-dose and foliar rate, not an all-cycle one. It is alkaline and raises solution pH, so re-check and adjust after adding. Shake well. In recirculating and drip systems renew the solution every 5 to 7 days. Check pH and EC after mixing.
