The ExHale 365 CO2 Bag is a self-activating carbon dioxide generator built around a live mycelium culture that colonises its substrate and then releases a continuous stream of CO2 for roughly six months. There's no cylinder, regulator, solenoid or controller involved, just a sealed bag with a built-in hanger that starts working on its own once opened. It's sized to enrich a 4x4ft (1.2 x 1.2m) tent, giving several plants through veg and flower the extra CO2 they need to photosynthesise at full tilt.

Running out of CO2 in a sealed tent?

Once a tent is sealed up tight for climate and odour control, the CO2 available to the plants gets used up faster than it's replaced, capping growth even when light, feed and temperature are dialled in. The ExHale 365 raises ambient CO2 levels in a sealed or semi-sealed space without the cost and complexity of a bottled injection system, making it a sensible option for smaller tents that don't warrant a full setup.

How to Use

• Open the bag to trigger activation, then hang it using the built-in hanger just above the canopy
• Position it out of direct light and away from any watering or misting so the substrate stays intact
• Allow four to six weeks for the mycelium to fully colonise before it reaches peak output
• Keep extraction to a minimum while it runs so CO2 can build up around the plants
• Replace once output tails off after roughly six months
