The Global Air EC2 Fan Speed Controller with Balancer is a compact environmental controller for EC extractor fans that automatically regulates fan speed by temperature while balancing intake and extraction airflow. Unbalanced ventilation is a constant headache in a sealed space: too much extraction collapses a grow tent, while weak intake lets heat and humidity climb and stalls vegetative growth. The EC2 holds a steady negative pressure and a continuous supply of fresh air, keeping the climate stable through veg and the flowering stage. It is powered directly through the fan connection, so there is no separate power supply to find room for.

How to Use

1. Connect the EC2 to your EC extractor fan using the included active male-to-male control cable.
2. If running both intake and outtake fans, connect the second fan with an additional compatible active EC cable.
3. Mount the temperature probe inside the grow tent or room at canopy height.
4. Set the minimum and maximum fan speeds for the extraction fan.
5. Adjust the fan balance control to set the speed difference between intake and outtake and hold negative pressure.
6. The controller then regulates fan speed by temperature automatically to keep the environment stable.
