The Global Air EC5 Fan Controller & Balancer from G.A.S manages EC ventilation and balances intake against extraction from one device, so you no longer need a separate controller and balancer sitting side by side. Using Reactive Temperature Technology (RTT), it holds your target temperature by adjusting fan speed automatically while keeping the grow space under slight negative pressure, and it plugs directly into Systemair EC fans including the G.A.S Vector EC range.

Get the balance wrong and ventilation falls apart: weak extraction lets heat and humidity build up, while over-strong intake breaks down negative pressure and pushes odours out through every gap. The EC5 adjusts fan speed to temperature automatically while letting you fine-tune the intake-to-extraction ratio, keeping airflow efficient and odour control tight through both vegetative growth and flowering.

How to Use

1. Connect the EC5 to your EC fans using active male-to-male EC cables (one supplied for the first fan; a second is needed to run two fans).
2. Position the controller somewhere accessible near your ventilation system.
3. Use the OLED display to set your target temperature and fan speed parameters.
4. Set the intake and extraction balance to hold the right degree of negative pressure.
5. Leave it to regulate fan speeds automatically to your chosen settings.
