Green Planet Plant Guard is a potassium silicate supplement containing 14% potassium silicate, added to increase the rigidity of a plant's cell walls. A stronger cell wall shows up as sturdier stems able to carry heavier flowers without support, and canopies that hold their structure better under stress from heat, pests or handling.
Silicate supplements are typically mixed separately before joining the main reservoir, since silica can react with other minerals if added directly — Plant Guard is no exception and should be pre-diluted before use.
