Hydro A and B is House & Garden's complete base nutrient for hydroponics, split across two bottles so the mineral chemistry stays stable in concentrate. Part A carries the core macro elements while Part B supplies the complementary minerals that keep growth consistent. It is built on high purity mineral compounds with stabilised phosphorus for a smoother transition into bloom and stronger flower set. It holds EC and pH steady in both recirculating and run-to-waste systems, and works across clay pebbles, rockwool and coco blends. Available in 1, 5 and 10 litre sizes.

The Trouble with Cheap Hydro Feeds
In an inert medium the solution is the entire diet, so any instability in the bottle turns up quickly in the plants. Lower grade feeds drift in pH, precipitate out phosphorus and leave a residue behind that eventually locks something out. Working from pharmaceutical-grade inputs means the tank you mixed on Monday is still the tank you think it is on Thursday, which is most of what consistency in hydro really comes down to.
How to Use
- Never mix Part A and Part B together in concentrate.
- Add Part A to the water, stir thoroughly, then add Part B and stir again.
- Feed A and B at equal rates and build up to your target EC.
- Adjust pH only after both parts and any additives are in the tank.
- Monitor EC and top up the reservoir as the plants draw it down.
