PK 13/14 is a concentrated phosphorus and potassium additive dosed over three to four days to spike PK availability, mimicking a period of drought stress that halts vegetative growth and commits the plant fully into flower and fruit formation.
It's used at the flip to flower or at a chosen point in early-to-mid bloom, and suits hydroponic, coco and soil programmes. Phosphorus supports root development, respiration and photosynthesis, while potassium drives nutrient transport around the plant through the demanding bloom stretch that follows.
A base nutrient alone often can't supply the concentrated PK spike a plant needs to commit fully to flower production. Running a short, clearly defined PK 13/14 window gives that push without holding an elevated PK level across the whole bloom cycle, which risks locking out other nutrients if left running too long.
