COCOBLOOM A&B is Hy-Gen's two-part base nutrient for the flowering stage in cocopeat. It is the direct partner to COCOGROW: same system, same mixing, switched at the flip. Flowering shifts a plant's demand sharply — nitrogen falls back while phosphorus and potassium climb — and COCOBLOOM carries that ratio while still holding the calcium and magnesium that coco's cation exchange strips out of any feed run through it. Supplied as two parts because calcium and the sulphate and phosphate salts cannot share a bottle without precipitating.

The Feed That Was Fine in Veg and Fails in Flower
Coco growers commonly get through the vegetative stage on a general feed and then hit trouble a fortnight into flowering, when demand for phosphorus and potassium rises and the medium is still exchanging away the calcium. What shows up is slow growth at the top, rusty spotting on older leaves and poor nutrient uptake that resists pH correction. A flowering base formulated for coco addresses both halves at once — the changed ratio and the medium's own behaviour — rather than layering a booster on top of a feed that was never built for the substrate.
How to Use
- Always add A first, then B — each into water, never into one another, stirring between
- Equal parts: A and B dose at the same rate
- Switch from COCOGROW as the plant enters flower, rather than tapering the two together
- pH: hold 5.8–6.2 in coco and check once the feed is fully mixed
- Build strength gradually through early flower rather than starting at full rate
- Never store mixed — make up only what the reservoir needs
