PK TOP UP is a straight phosphorus and potassium supplement for the flowering period. Demand for both climbs sharply once a plant switches, and a base feed mixed to a general chart is frequently the limiting factor rather than the light or the environment. This is the targeted correction: raise PK in a reservoir that is otherwise fine, in measured steps, instead of pushing the whole feed harder and burning the plant on everything else at the same time.

Feeding Harder Is Not the Same as Feeding Right

The instinct when flowering looks underpowered is to raise the whole feed. That lifts nitrogen as well, at exactly the point the plant wants less of it, and the result is dark, brittle leaves, tip burn and poor nutrient uptake from a reservoir that is now simply too strong. Raising phosphorus and potassium on their own changes the ratio rather than the total, which is the actual objective. It also keeps EC headroom in hand, so there is somewhere to go if the plant does need more overall later.

How to Use

• Flowering stage only — there is no case for it during vegetative growth
• Alongside the base feed, never as a replacement for it
• Add to a mixed reservoir, circulate fully, then re-read rather than reading immediately
• Re-check EC and pH after every addition — it moves both
• Raise in small steps and give the plant a few days between increases
• Stop raising at the first sign of tip burn and hold at the previous level
