Hydrotops Bactivator is a 100% organic biological root inoculant that pairs over 40 beneficial microbes and fungi with humic acids, fulvic acids, amino acids and a microbial catalyst. Suitable for hydroponics, coco and soil, its microbes colonise the root zone and form a natural partnership with the plant, improving nutrient uptake while protecting roots from harmful pathogens. It is suitable for organic growing and contains no PGRs.

Poor root health is one of the main causes of slow growth, weak nutrient uptake and reduced yields. Bactivator introduces beneficial microorganisms that colonise the root zone, breaking down organic matter into plant-available nutrients while improving oxygen uptake. That builds a healthier root environment, helping plants shrug off transplant shock and resist root diseases through both vegetative growth and bloom, in a grow tent or grow room.
How to Use
- Activate: dissolve 1 microbial tablet (or one level spoon of microbes) in 500ml of lukewarm water for every 50 litres of nutrient solution.
- Add catalyst: stir in 10ml of the supplied catalyst per tablet or spoon used.
- Wait: leave to activate for around 15 minutes before adding to your reservoir or feed solution.
- When to use: throughout the growing cycle for best results, or at minimum during vegetative growth and after transplanting.
- Coverage: one dose treats up to 50 litres and cannot be overdosed under normal use.
- Avoid: do not use hydrogen peroxide or liquid oxygen products - they destroy the beneficial microbes.
