The 25mm IWS Flood and Drain Pro Remote is a proven recirculating system for growers who want big results with minimal daily input. The brain floods the pots at the feed times you set, integrated float switches cut the flood at the exact height your pots need, and the drain pumps then return the remaining solution to the reservoir quickly and quietly, re-oxygenating it on the way. That fast drain cycle keeps oxygen at the roots between feeds, avoiding the waterlogged root zone that causes slow growth and poor nutrient uptake. Kits run from 6 to 48 plants with 25mm pipework throughout and a 3,000 L/h tank pump, and the 48 plant kit comes with a choice of 400L or 750L FlexiTank - the bigger tank holds more solution between top-ups and steadies EC and pH across a large room.

How to Use
- Position the outer pots and control pot, then connect the 25mm pipework
- Site the FlexiTank and connect the pump kit
- Set the float switches to the flood height your pots require
- Dial in feed duration on the remote timer, from 1 to 60 minutes
- Use the 'O' position to override feeds off, the centre position to follow the timer, and 'I' to run permanently on
- Check reservoir pH and EC at every top-up

Frequently Asked Questions
400L or 750L tank for 48 plants?
Both run the same 48 plant system. The 750L FlexiTank holds nearly twice the solution, so it needs topping up less often and its EC and pH drift more slowly as large plants drink; choose the 400L if floor space beside the system is tight. Assembled, the 750L stands about 90cm wide and 117cm tall.
What is the difference between the Pro Remote and the Standard systems?
The Pro Remote uses 25mm pipework and a 3,000 L/h pump, so pots fill and drain faster - IWS recommend it for bigger rooms. The Standard systems run on 16mm pipework.
Which growing medium should I use?
Clay pebbles are the classic flood and drain medium because they hold plenty of air. Mixing in 20 to 40% coco makes the pots hold more water, so you can flood less often.
Can the timer sit outside the grow room?
Yes. The 1 minute timer is remote from the brain and connects to it by cable, so feed duration can be changed without opening the room.
