The Kaya Coir Grow Pot is a compressed block of 100% RHP-certified coco coir packed in an open-top grow bag. Add water and the dry block swells to fill the bag, giving roughly a 15 cm cube – about 4.7 litres – of ready-to-plant medium. Kaya wash the coir several times to strip out excess salts, buffer it and use a coarse coir blend for fast expansion and free drainage, so there is no rinsing, buffering or mixing before you plant.

Why Does Coco Quality Matter?
Poorly washed coco can carry sodium and potassium salts that push calcium and magnesium off the coir and starve young plants, while fine, dusty grades compact and hold too much water, leaving roots short of oxygen. Kaya's washed, buffered, coarse blend keeps salts low and leaves plenty of air space, so root development and nutrient uptake get off to a clean start and the risk of overwatering drops. It suits hand watering and drip irrigation alike, for vegetables, herbs, flowers and fruiting crops.
How to Use
- Open: fold back the top of the bag and stand it upright in a tray
- Hydrate: add water slowly, in stages, until the block has fully expanded and the coir is evenly moist
- Plant: set seedlings, rooted cuttings or rooting cubes straight in, or tip the coir into a larger pot
- Feed: use a coco-specific nutrient from the first feed, with a calcium and magnesium top-up on soft or RO water
- Water: allow a little run-off each time to keep the root-zone EC steady
