Description
A heavy-duty grow tent built for serious rooms
The LightHouse MAX Grow Tent is the premium LightHouse model, made for growers who do not want to compromise on the frame or the seal. The cover is heavy-duty tri-layer 600 denier fabric with the ULTRALUX reflective liner, stretched over thick 22mm or 25mm poles with welded metal corners and roof support bars that grip with rubber ends. It is offered here from a slim 0.5m x 1m tent for a single light or a mother plant up to a 3m x 3m room for six lamps. In between sit five square models, 0.76m, 1m, 1.2m, 1.5m and 1.95m, alongside the 2.4m x 1.2m, 2.4m x 2.4m and 3m x 2m. Every duct and cable port is double-lined and light-tight, and the larger socks get an extra Velcro cover, so heat, humidity and airflow are controlled by your fans rather than by leaks.
Key Benefits
- 600 denier tri-layer cover resists stretching and punctures year after year
- 22mm / 25mm poles with welded metal corners carry lights, filters and fans without sagging
- ULTRALUX liner, rated by the maker up to 30% more reflective than traditional linings
- Double-sealed ports with pull toggles, plus Velcro light covers on the big extraction socks
- 300mm (12") socks on the 2.4m and larger models are big enough to hold a fan inside, as are the 300mm socks on the 1.2m, 1.5m and 1.95m squares
- Roof or side extraction on every size from 1m x 1m upwards, with a low-level base side inlet for fresh air
- Waterproof insert tray, filter straps, Velcro cable straps, door clips and a fabric carry bag
Choosing a Size
The two 1.8m-tall models, the 0.5m x 1m and 0.76m x 0.76m, take one 250W-class lamp and extract through a 200mm roof gland, which suits a mother plant, propagation or a small single-light grow. The 2m-tall squares step up one light at a time: 400W in the 1m, 600W in the 1.2m and up to 1000W in the 1.5m. The 1.95m x 1.95m x 1.95m, sold by HydroGarden as the MAX 2m², shares the four-sock, two-tray layout of the 2.4m x 2.4m and 3m models and is rated for four 400W lamps, while the 2.4m x 1.2m, 2.4m x 2.4m, 3m x 2m and 3m x 3m run two to six lamps. Size the tent to the light you will run rather than to the floor space alone: too much light in too little air volume is where heat and humidity get out of hand.
How to Use
- Assemble the frame on a level floor and fit the roof support bars before hanging anything. The 2.4m x 2.4m, 3m x 2m and 3m x 3m arrive in two boxes. The 1.95m x 1.95m comes in two boxes as well.
- Hang lights and filters from the roof bars and filter straps. HydroGarden's lighting guide: 1 x 250W HID or high-wattage CFL (0.5m), 2 x 600W HID (2.4m x 1.2m), 4 x 600W HID (2.4m x 2.4m), 4 x 1000W or 4 x 600W plus 2 x 400W (3m x 2m), 4 x 1000W or 6 x 600W (3m x 3m); an LED of similar coverage works the same way. For the square models: 1 x 250W or 315W HID or a high-wattage CFL (0.76m), 1 x 400W HID (1m), 1 x 600W HID (1.2m), one lamp up to 1000W HID (1.5m) and 4 x 400W HID (1.95m).
- Extract through the roof or, on the 2.4m models and up, the side. Minimum fan: 100mm (4") for the 0.5m, 150mm (6") for the 2.4m x 1.2m, 2.4m x 2.4m and 3m x 2m, 200mm (8") for the 3m x 3m. The 0.76m extracts through the roof only, while the 1m, 1.2m, 1.5m and 1.95m take roof or side extraction; their minimum fans are 100mm (4") for the 0.76m and 1m, 125mm (5") for the 1.2m and 1.5m and 150mm (6") for the 1.95m.
- On the larger models, use the two curved inner doors for daily work, or unzip the whole front panel when you need full access. The 1.95m x 1.95m has the same curved inner doors and zip-off front.
- Close the Velcro covers and toggles on unused ports and check for light leaks with the lights on inside.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which MAX size suits my light?
HydroGarden pairs one 250W-class lamp with the 0.5m and 0.76m, 400W with the 1m, 600W with the 1.2m, up to 1000W with the 1.5m, four 400W lamps with the 1.95m, two 600W with the 2.4m x 1.2m, four 600W with the 2.4m x 2.4m and four to six lamps with the 3m models. An LED of similar coverage works the same way.
What size extraction fan does each MAX need?
At least 100mm (4") for the 0.5m, 0.76m and 1m, 125mm (5") for the 1.2m and 1.5m, 150mm (6") for the 1.95m, 2.4m x 1.2m, 2.4m x 2.4m and 3m x 2m, and 200mm (8") for the 3m x 3m. From the 1.2m up the 300mm socks are wide enough to hold the fan inside.
Is the 1.95m model the MAX 2m?
Yes. HydroGarden sells it as the LightHouse MAX 2m², and it measures 1.95m x 1.95m x 1.95m; some retailers round it to 2m x 2m x 2m. It has the same four-sock, two-tray layout as the 2.4m x 2.4m and arrives in two boxes.
How does the MAX differ from the LightHouse LITE?
The MAX uses a 600 denier tri-layer cover on 22mm or 25mm poles with welded metal corners, roof support bars and Velcro covers on the big socks. The LITE is the budget model, a 210 denier cover on a 16mm pole frame with nylon corners. Both have the ULTRALUX liner and Tivax zips.
Can a small MAX be used for drying?
Yes. HydroGarden recommends the MAX 1m as a drying or storage space when it is fitted with the LightHouse DryNet, and the passive vents and extraction ports let you keep air moving through it.
