The LightHouse MAX XL Grow Tent is the taller version of HydroGarden's premium MAX range, built 2.2m high so there is room above the canopy for large reflectors, air-cooled hoods, carbon filters and taller plants. It comes in three footprints: 1.5m x 1.5m for a single lamp, 3m x 1.5m for two or three, and 3m x 3m for four to six. The cover is heavy-duty tri-layer 600 denier fabric lined with LightHouse's own ULTRALUX reflective film, carried on a 25mm steel frame with welded metal corners and roof support bars that grip with rubber ends. Every duct and cable outlet is double-lined and light-tight with pull toggles, and the big extraction socks have Velcro covers, so humidity, heat and airflow are set by your fans rather than by leaks.
Both 3m models share the same big front. The front can be used through two curved inner doors for daily work, or zipped off completely when you need to get a trolley or a whole row of plants in and out. The 1.5m x 1.5m is worked through its two side doors and large rear door. Every size has 300mm (12") socks wide enough to take an extraction fan inside the tent, and the extra 20cm over a standard 2m tent is often what lets a fan, filter and light all hang above the plants without crowding them.

How to Use
- 3m x 3m and 3m x 1.5m: The tent arrives in two boxes because of its weight. Build the frame on a level floor with two people and fit the roof bars before hanging anything.
- 3m x 3m: Light it with 4 x 1000W or 6 x 600W HID, or an LED setup of similar coverage. 3m x 1.5m: 2 x 1000W, or 2 x 600W plus 1 x 400W. 1.5m x 1.5m: one lamp up to 1000W HID.
- 3m x 3m: Use at least a 200mm (8") extraction fan; run the ducting through the roof or side outlets and pull passive air in through the low vents or the 300mm base inlet. The 3m x 1.5m needs at least 150mm (6") and the 1.5m x 1.5m 125mm (5"), ducted the same way.
- Close the Velcro covers and toggles on unused ports and check for light leaks with the lights on inside.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is the MAX XL different from the standard LightHouse MAX?
It uses the same 600 denier tri-layer cover, ULTRALUX liner, 25mm poles and welded metal corners, but stands 2.2m tall instead of 2m. HydroGarden made it for larger lighting and ballast combinations and for taller crops.
What size extraction fan do I need?
HydroGarden's minimums are 125mm (5") for the 1.5m x 1.5m, 150mm (6") for the 3m x 1.5m and 200mm (8") for the 3m x 3m. Every size has 300mm socks, so the fan can sit inside the sock rather than taking up floor or canopy space.
How many lights will each size take?
One lamp up to 1000W HID in the 1.5m, 2 x 1000W (or 2 x 600W plus 1 x 400W) in the 3m x 1.5m, and 4 x 1000W or 6 x 600W in the 3m x 3m. An LED setup with similar coverage works the same way.
How do I get large plants or a trolley in and out?
