The Maxibright Varidrive 500W/1000W LED is a dual-mode, full-spectrum grow light built to run as a single 1000W fixture or split into two independent 500W LEDs. With a photosynthetic photon flux of 2700 umol/s and an efficacy of 2.7 umol/J, it delivers serious output over a 1.5m x 1.5m to 1.8m x 1.8m canopy. Each half has its own fully integrated driver, so there's no external ballast to manage whichever way you run it, and units link together as a grow expands.

Need a light that adapts as your layout changes?

Fixed-output fixtures leave growers stuck when a room is split into zones or a canopy grows unevenly. The Varidrive's split design solves this: each 500W half runs independently, so light can be repositioned or one half switched off without losing the other - useful for staggered canopies, propagation areas or simply adapting coverage as plants fill out.

How to Use

• Suspend the 8-bar fixture above the canopy for coverage of around 1.5m x 1.5m up to 1.8m x 1.8m, adjusting height as plants grow.
• Run both halves together for maximum output, or split into two 500W fixtures to cover separate zones.
• Set output with the onboard dimmer between 25 and 100%, or connect via the RJ port to an external lighting controller for automated dimming and scheduling.
• Link additional units as coverage needs increase.
