Plagron Alga Grow and Alga Bloom are algae-based base nutrients, 100% organic and Control Union certified, created for soil-based cultivation. Alga Grow runs through the growth phase, feeding balanced vegetative growth and good root development so the plant has the frame to flower profusely later. Alga Bloom takes over at flowering. Both help hold a stable soil pH and improve soil structure, and growing on organic algae feeds is what gives the finished produce its best smell and taste. Neither suits hydroponic systems.

Weak Roots, Tired Soil and Feeds That Blunt Flavour

Hard synthetic feeding pushes numbers up but leaves soil biology behind: pH drifts, structure collapses to a compacted block, and weak roots and poor nutrient uptake follow, usually with a flat end product. An organic algae base works with the microbial life in the medium, buffering pH and keeping soil open, so roots keep exploring and the aroma survives to harvest.

How to Use

• Growth phase - Alga Grow: a maximum of 4ml per litre of water, every time you irrigate
• Flowering phase - Alga Bloom: a maximum of 4ml per litre of water, every time you irrigate
• Medium: for soil only - use with 100% natural or Terra substrates. Not suitable for hydroponic systems
• Before use: shake well, add to water rather than dosing neat, and mix thoroughly
• Irrigation systems: flush the pipes after use so organic residues do not settle in the lines
