Silicon That Toughens Cell Walls and Sharpens Uptake

Plagron Silic Rock is a specialised silicon fertiliser aimed at the hidden silicon deficiency most indoor substrates carry. It reinforces cell walls, improves how efficiently essential nutrients are absorbed and used, and raises resistance to environmental stress, pests and disease. It slots into an existing schedule at a simple 1:1000 dilution across the whole cultivation period, in soil and coco coir.

Floppy Stems, Stress Damage and Poor Nutrient Uptake

Plants short of silicon are softer all the way through. Stems bend under load in late flower, leaf tissue gives up quickly under heat stress, and nutrient uptake stays inefficient however well the feed is mixed, showing up as slow growth and low yields. Silicon is laid down in cell walls as the plant builds them, so it has to be present in every feed rather than added late.

How to Use

• Soil: mix 1 ml per 1 litre of water and apply with every watering
• Coco coir: mix 1 ml per 1 litre of water and apply with every watering
• Whole cycle: use from early growth right through flowering, not just in veg
• Preparation: shake well, add to water, stir until fully mixed and feed as normal
• Mixing order: add Silic Rock to plain water first, before base feeds and other additives
• pH: check and adjust after mixing, as silicon raises the pH of the solution
• Not for recirculating hydroponics such as NFT, DWC or aeroponics; flush irrigation pipes after use
