Plagron Vita Race Iron Foliar Spray for Growth

Vita Race is Plagron's iron foliar spray for the growth phase and the first three weeks of flowering. Iron is a core component of chlorophyll, and chlorophyll drives photosynthesis - so when iron runs short the plant cannot produce energy, and you see stunted growth, chlorosis (yellowing of leaves) and reduced fruiting. Feeding iron through the leaf gets it into the plant quickly, keeping foliage deep green and photosynthesis running through the weeks that set up the whole crop. Vita Race is suitable for all peat and coconut substrates.

Yellowing Leaves and Slow Growth

Chlorosis is the classic sign of a plant that has stopped building chlorophyll: pale leaves, weak new growth and slow development no matter how well the reservoir is fed. Because iron moves poorly once inside the plant, it shows first on the new growth at the top. A weekly foliar pass through veg and early flower keeps iron where it is needed, so photosynthesis stays high and low yields never take hold.

How to Use

• Dose: add a maximum of 5 ml per litre of water.
• Frequency: spray the plant weekly with this nutrient solution.
• Timing: use through the growth phase and up to and including the third week of the flowering phase.
• Coverage: apply enough for the liquid to drip from the leaves, covering both leaf surfaces.
• Peat and coco: suitable for all peat and coconut substrates.
• Irrigation systems: flush the pipes after use.
• Not suitable for: hydrological methods such as NFT, DWC and aeroponics.
