The Spider Farmer SE4500 LED Grow Light is a 320W three-bar fixture built for a 70 x 140 cm grow tent, stretching to 90 x 150 cm at a push. It puts out 913 µmol/s at an efficiency of 2.85 µmol/J, so it draws far less power and gives off less heat than an HPS lamp of similar output. A full-spectrum mix of warm white, cool white and 660 nm deep red diodes covers every stage from seedling to flowering and fruiting, and a digital dimmer box takes it from 0 to 100% by hand or from the Spider Farmer app.

Why Do Plants Stretch Under a Weak or Patchy Light?
When light is too weak, or bright in the middle and dim at the edges, plants stretch towards it, put on thin, weak stems and grow unevenly across the tent. The SE4500 spreads its output across three bars instead of a single hot centre, giving the whole canopy the intensity it needs for compact vegetative growth and strong flowering, while its low heat keeps temperature and humidity easier to manage than with HPS.
How to Use
- Hang it with the supplied rope-ratchet hangers above the centre of the tent and connect the power lead.
- Seedlings and cuttings - aim for 100-300 µmol/m²/s: hang high and dim to suit.
- Vegetative growth - 400-600 µmol/m²/s, raising the dimmer as plants fill out.
- Flowering and fruiting - 800-1,000 µmol/m²/s across the canopy.
- Set a schedule in the app, or plug it into a timer, and add a sunrise and sunset ramp to ease plants in and out of the light period.
