Spider Farmer at Hydro Crop Shop
Spider Farmer make LED grow lights in three lines, SF, G and SE, and build their tents, climate kit and hydroponic systems to run from one controller platform, the GGS (Genius Grow System). Their lights carry CE, RoHS, ETL and UL listings, and Spider Farmer keep service centres in the UK, Germany, the US, Canada, Australia and Thailand.
LED grow lights
The SE4500 is a 320W, three-bar fixture from the premium SE line: 913 µmol/s at 2.85 µmol/J, built for a 70 x 140cm tent and stretching to 90 x 150cm. It pairs Bridgelux white diodes with OSRAM 660nm deep red, dims by hand or from the app, and up to 50 fixtures can be daisy-chained and dimmed together.
Grow tents
The Spider Farmer indoor grow tent is 1680D Oxford cloth with a high-reflectivity Mylar lining on a steel frame, with a viewing window so you can check the plants without opening the door. We stock the 140 x 70 x 200cm size, which matches the SE4500's footprint, and the 120 x 120 x 200cm.
GGS smart control
The GGS AC5 power strip kit has five independently programmed outlets, set from the Spider Farmer app over WiFi or Bluetooth on timer, temperature, humidity or CO₂ modes. It comes with a temperature, humidity and light sensor and a 3-in-1 soil sensor that reads moisture, temperature and EC. It dims Spider Farmer SF (apart from the SF300 and SF600), G and SE lights directly, sets speed and oscillation on RJ12 fans, and switches anything else on a timer.
Heat and humidity
The grow tent heater uses PTC ceramic plates with ten heat levels and separate day and night settings, and the 5L smart cool mist humidifier holds a set humidity from its own sensor. Both work on their own or from a GGS controller or the AC5.
Hydroponics and watering
The SmartG12 is a 12-pod countertop system with a 36W dimmable LED, a 6L tank and WiFi app control, for herbs and salad leaves on a worktop. The DWC hydroponics grow system runs two 7-gallon buckets from one air pump, with a top-drip ring that waters young roots until they reach the solution. The self-watering system feeds four pots by gravity from a folding 13-gallon (about 50L) reservoir through wick lines, with no pump and no power.
Seedlings and cuttings
The plant stand with grow lights puts LED bars over every shelf inside a zip-up 1680D cover, as a 4-tier 108W or a 6-tier 220W stand.

No. The SE4500 dims by hand from its own dimmer. GGS adds app control, schedules and automation from the sensors.
Will GGS control equipment from other brands?
Yes, on a timer. Anything plugged into the AC5 switches on its outlet's programme; Spider Farmer lights and RJ12 fans also get dimming, speed and oscillation control.
