One Powder for Coco and Hydro on RO or Soft Water
Veg+Bloom RO/SOFT is an all-in-one powdered base nutrient developed by Hydroponic Research for large-scale operations, and it consolidates what most ranges spread across several separate products into a single powder. It is tailored to soft water regions with starting EC below 0.3 and to RO systems, compensating for the dissolved minerals that filtration strips out. Hard water areas should run Tap/Hard instead.

Running RO or Soft Water and Still Seeing Deficiencies?
Filtered and naturally soft water is a clean starting point, but it arrives with almost nothing in it. Feed a standard nutrient designed around a hard-water background and you end up short on calcium and magnesium, which shows as slow growth, weak roots and poor nutrient uptake no matter how high you push EC. RO/SOFT is balanced for that empty starting water, so the ratios land where they should.
How to Use
- Water source: use with RO water or soft tap water with a starting EC below 0.3
- Mixing: add to the tank and mix until fully dissolved before adjusting anything else
- Veg and bloom: run as your single base nutrient across the complete growth cycle
- From week 3 of flower: add Shine (PK 22-12) for enhanced flower and fruit development
- Hard water areas: switch to the Tap/Hard version rather than compensating by eye
- pH: check and adjust the finished solution to suit coco or hydro before feeding
