Cal-Mag, Wetting Agent and Drip Cleaner in a Single Powder

Veg+Bloom Stax (formerly known as Stackswell) is a powdered blend of humic acids, calcium, magnesium and sugars from Hydroponic Research, rolling several separate bottles into one scoop. Most growers run a cal-mag, a wetting agent and a line cleaner side by side: three products to store, three to measure and three chances to get the ratio wrong. Stax handles all three at once, formulated for commercial-scale growers but just as usable in a single tent.

Yellowing Leaves and Blocked Drippers

Cal-mag shortfalls rarely announce themselves early. You see interveinal yellowing on older leaves, scorched tips under strong light and slow growth that no feed increase fixes, because the nutrient is present but not taken up. Soft water and heavy LED intensity make it worse. Stax adds calcium and magnesium alongside humic acid so uptake improves, while the wetting agent keeps solution moving evenly instead of channelling past dry pockets and leaving weak roots behind.

How to Use

• Coco and hydroponics: add Stax to the reservoir first, before your base powder, stirring until fully dissolved.
• Soil: mix into the tank in the same order and apply as a normal root feed.
• Rates: follow the Veg+Bloom feed chart, as rates differ between the Tap/Hard, RO/Soft and Dirty bases.
• Timing: use through vegetative growth and flower at a consistent dose.
• pH after mixing: 5.8 to 6.2 in coco and hydro, 6.2 to 6.5 in soil. Check EC before feeding.
