A genuine EC probe to bring your P700 Pro 2 back into line
This is the replacement EC electrode for the Aqua Master Tools P700 Pro 2 Combo Meter – the probe that reads EC, CF, PPM and temperature. The P700 Pro 2 is built to stay in a reservoir for continuous monitoring, and an EC probe that lives in nutrient solution around the clock gradually suffers from scale, residue and cable wear. Aqua Master Tools make both of the meter's electrodes separately replaceable, so when EC readings start to wander or will not hold a calibration you change the probe, not the meter. It connects through the P700 Pro 2's large PIN connector and is IP67 waterproof for permanent immersion.

Drifting EC Readings in a Continuously Monitored Tank
When an EC probe ages, the meter starts to under- or over-read nutrient strength, and decisions about topping up or diluting the tank are made on bad numbers. That can mean underfeeding, salt build-up or nutrient lockout before anyone notices. A fresh electrode, calibrated on fitting, puts the meter's EC, CF and PPM readings back on a sound footing.
How to Use
- Switch the meter off, unscrew the sealing ring at the base and gently pull the old EC electrode out.
- Fit the new electrode with its recess lined up so the pins seat properly, check the rubber seal and tighten the ring.
- Calibrate EC before use: the P700 Pro 2 runs a one-point automatic calibration at 1.4, 3.0 or 12.88.
- Clean the probe whenever you clean the reservoir and recalibrate more often than a meter used only for spot checks.
