Description

Knock back soft-bodied pests and mildew on contact, without chemical pesticide

Athena IPW (Integrated Plant Wash, formerly IPM) is a foliar treatment that kills many soft-bodied insects and mildew on contact and penetrates plant crevices and leaf surfaces where unwanted biotic diseases try to colonise. Rather than poisoning pests with synthetic chemistry, it works mechanically, breaking down the outer membrane of insects and fungal spores, so there's no chemical residue and no resistance building up over repeated use in the grow room.

Spotted the first signs of spider mites or powdery mildew?

Soft-bodied pests and powdery mildew both thrive in still, humid air and spread fast once established, usually getting a foothold on the underside of leaves before anything shows from above. Athena IPW is built to be sprayed in as a routine preventive through veg and early flower, then stepped up to a curative frequency the moment damage appears, instead of waiting until an infestation has taken hold and become far harder to shift.

Key Benefits

  • Contact kill on many soft-bodied insects, their eggs and mildew
  • Mechanical mode of action breaks down membranes physically, so pests can't build resistance
  • No chemical pesticide residue, leaving nothing behind on treated foliage
  • Penetrates crevices and leaf surfaces where pests and spores hide and colonise
  • One flexible rate covers both preventive routines and active treatment

How to Use

  • Dilution: 24-32ml per litre of water, applied as a foliar spray
  • Prevention: spray 1-2 times per week through the vegetative phase and up to around week 3 of flower
  • Active infestation: spray 3 times per week until the problem is under control
  • Coverage: wet both the tops and the undersides of leaves, where pests and mildew settle first
  • Timing: always spray with the lights off or about to switch off, to avoid leaf burn, and let foliage dry before lights return
