The Dimlux Xtreme Series 1050W LED +NIR MKII ION is the top model in Dimlux's second-generation Xtreme range. From 1050W it produces 3,604 µmol/s in the 400–700 nm band at 3.3 µmol/J, rising to 3,822 µmol/s at 3.5 µmol/J across 350–800 nm, spread evenly over a 1.62 x 1.62 m growing area. Its PhytoVegSpec® spectrum is adjustable from the fixture's own colour display, the +NIR version adds far-red that works with red light to lift photosynthesis, and a patented negative ioniser with cold plasma built into the light neutralises airborne pathogens without detectable ozone. Designed and engineered in the Netherlands, it is passively cooled, rated IP65 and covered by a 5-year warranty.

Disease Pressure and Stretch in High-Intensity Rooms

The Xtreme MKII's ioniser treats the air at the light itself, reducing disease pressure to protect plant health and crop quality. The +NIR spectrum adds far-red alongside red: plants grow a little taller than under the standard version, in exchange for increased photosynthesis and photon absorption and a plant shape that Dimlux link to higher yields. How to Use
- Hang at least 70 cm above the canopy, centred over a 1.62 x 1.62 m area
- Keep the room below 35°C – the fixture is passively cooled and rated to that ambient maximum
- Set spectrum and output on the display, or link to a Maxi Controller or Smart Remote through the Interlink Smartport
- Plug a plant temperature sensor into its Smartport so output can follow leaf temperature
