Description

A classic hard-or-soft-water twin pack for strong, sturdy vegetative growth

GreenHaze Grow A&B is Growth Technology's two-part hydroponic base nutrient for the vegetative stage, made in the UK. It is a classic twin pack: Part A carries the calcium nitrate and chelated iron, Part B the phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, sulphur and chelated trace elements, kept apart in concentrate so nothing locks up in the bottle. Mixed at 4 ml of each part per litre, it suits hard or soft water and is made for active hydroponic systems and inert media. Growth Technology formulate it for growers who want to push their plants that bit further, and when the first flowers form you switch to GreenHaze Bloom A&B.

Key Benefits

  • Two-part A&B formula — calcium stays apart from phosphates and sulphates until it reaches the tank
  • Hard or soft water — one formulation for either supply
  • Simple dosing — 4 ml/L of A and 4 ml/L of B, to an EC of 1.5–2.2 mS/cm
  • Complete nutrition — nitrate nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, sulphur and chelated trace elements
  • Pairs with GreenHaze Bloom A&B for a two-stage programme
  • Made in the UK by Growth Technology

Slow, Pale Vegetative Growth

Plants in a hydroponic system or an inert medium depend entirely on what is in the tank. A weak or unbalanced feed shows up as pale new leaves, thin stems and slow growth, and poor nutrient uptake follows quickly when calcium, magnesium or trace elements run short. GreenHaze Grow is blended from pure, highly soluble minerals to give a balanced, complete solution through vegetative growth, building strong, sturdy plants with the structure to carry heavy flowering and fruiting later.

How to Use

  • Work out your tank volume, then add 4 ml of Part A per litre (20 ml, one capful, per 5 litres) and stir well
  • Add the same amount of Part B — 4 ml per litre — and stir again; never mix A and B together undiluted
  • Check EC: aim for 1.5–2.2 mS/cm, adding more nutrient if needed
  • Check pH last: 5.5–6.2, adjusting with Growth Technology pH Up or pH Down
  • Use through vegetative growth, then switch to GreenHaze Bloom A&B once flowers are produced
  • Store above 6 °C — the minimum storage temperature on the label

Note — Growth Technology's rate is 4 ml of each part per litre, to an EC of 1.5–2.2 mS/cm and pH 5.5–6.2; switch to GreenHaze Bloom A&B when flowers are produced. Set EC first, then adjust pH, once every base nutrient and additive is in the tank.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is GreenHaze Grow for hard or soft water?

Both. Growth Technology make one GreenHaze formulation that suits hard and soft water areas alike, so there is no separate version to choose.

When do I switch to GreenHaze Bloom?

Use GreenHaze Grow until flowers are produced, then change to GreenHaze Bloom A&B at the same 4 ml per litre of each part.

Can I use GreenHaze in soil?

It is formulated for active hydroponic systems and inert media. For soil, Growth Technology make IONIC Soil Grow.

What EC should I run?

Growth Technology recommend 1.5–2.2 mS/cm. Mix 4 ml of each part per litre, measure, and add a little more nutrient if the EC is below your target.
