Everything Between the Tank and the Brain
The IWS FlexiTank Pump & Pipework Kit - the kitbox - is the tank end of an IWS flood and drain system: the long-lead tank pump that sends solution to the brain, and the fill and drain pipework and tank connectors that plumb the reservoir in. Use it to replace a worn or damaged kit, or to connect an IWS FlexiTank or another reservoir to an IWS system. The Standard kit carries a NEWA Maxi-Jet MJ1000 and suits 16mm IWS Standard and Standard Remote systems; the Pro kit carries a NEWA Jet NJ3000 with the blue IWS connector and suits 25mm Pro Remote and Trident systems. Both are made for current IWS tanks with a single drain connection, and IWS make a kit for each FlexiTank size, so choose the size of the tank it will sit in. A pump that fades or a split fill line shows up quickly as slow, uneven floods, so keeping a genuine kit to hand avoids lost feeds.

How to Use
- Fit the threaded connectors through the tank with a washer either side; hand-tighten, then nip up gently
- Connect the fill and drain pipes from the tank to the brain
- Stand the pump on the tank floor and plug its lead into the brain
- Fill the tank with water and run a test flood and drain before adding nutrients

Will it fit an older IWS tank with two drain holes?
These kits are for the current single-drain IWS tanks. Older two-hole tanks were made for the earlier Pro brains with two drain pumps.
