Plagron Cocos A+B is a two-part mineral base nutrient formulated for growing in buffered coco. Coco is an inert medium that holds no nutrition of its own, which hands you complete control over your plants' intake but means every element has to come from the tank. Splitting the feed into Cocos A and Cocos B keeps calcium apart from sulphates and phosphates in concentrate, so nothing locks out before it reaches the roots. One feed covers early growth to the end of flowering.

Poor Nutrient Uptake in an Inert Medium

Coco dries and rewets fast, and a feed not designed for it drifts: salts build at the base of the pot, pH swings between waterings, and plants show slow growth and pale new leaves despite a full tank. A dedicated two-part coco feed keeps calcium, magnesium and potassium in sensible proportion for the medium, so uptake stays even and roots work through the whole pot rather than just the wet zone.

How to Use

• Always equal parts: use the same volume of Cocos A and Cocos B at the rate given on the label.
• Add separately: A into the water first, stir, then B - never mix the two concentrates directly.
• Seedlings and cuttings: start at half the label rate and build up as the root system develops.
• Growth and flowering: feed at every watering, adjusting strength to the stage and plant size.
• pH: mix the full solution first, then adjust to 5.5-6.2, the working range for coco.
• Housekeeping: shake before use and mix fresh rather than leaving solution standing.
