Description
SANlight's Most Powerful EVO Fixture for High Rooms
The Sanlight EVO 6-150 1.5 packs six light modules into the same 1318mm length as the EVO 5-150, raising output to 1,090 µmol/s at 400W. SANlight developed it as a project light for high rooms and open spaces, where its extra power density can be used to the full – fanless, IP65-sealed and dimmable from 0-10V, with the asymmetric optics and tilting hangers that make the EVO range so even across the canopy.
Key Benefits
- 1,090 µmol/s from 400W – over 3 µmol/J at module level
- Six modules, same length – higher power density than the EVO 5-150 in the same 1318mm footprint
- Asymmetric secondary optics with the Easy-Tilting-System for an even spread at different heights and angles
- Silent passive cooling – no fans to fail; the heatsink does the work
- IP65 – water jets and dust cannot harm it; light modules hermetically sealed
- 0-10V dimming port – SANlight M-Dimmer, Bluetooth dimmer or an external controller
Too Much Light for the Room?
Packing 400W into a 1.3m bar gives very high intensity directly beneath it. That is ideal over a tall crop in a high room, a glasshouse bay or a large grow space, but in a low tent it can push more light than plants can use and stress the canopy. SANlight's own advice is to pair the EVO 6 with CO₂ enrichment and a dimmer when it is used in a tent, and to take the greatest care with plants if it is run without added CO₂ – dim it back for seedlings and young plants and raise it as the crop develops.
How to Use
- Hang from both end eyelets for a level fixture, or from the outer eyelet to tilt it and keep light off walls and paths
- Power: no mains lead in the box – use SANlight's EVO power cord, and SANlight cables only when daisy-chaining several fixtures
- Dim for young plants and when running without CO₂; bring it up gradually as the crop fills out
- Cleaning: power off and wipe the optics with a dry, dust-free cloth

Frequently Asked Questions
Is it suitable for a grow tent?
SANlight designed it for high rooms and open spaces, and recommend CO₂ supplementation and a dimmer when it goes in a tent. It can be used dimmed in a tall tent, but for a standard 150 x 150cm tent SANlight's own recommendation is two EVO 5-150s.
Is a power cable included?
No. Each fixture needs a SANlight EVO power cord (sold separately) – SANlight leave it out so you can choose straight, angled or daisy-chain leads.
How does it compare with the EVO 5-150?
Same 1318mm length. The EVO 6-150 adds a sixth module: 400W and 1,090 µmol/s against the EVO 5-150 1.5's 340W and 915 µmol/s.
Can it be dimmed?
Yes, through its 0-10V port with the SANlight M-Dimmer, the Bluetooth dimmer or an external controller; for TrolMaster use the RJ12 adapter cable.
