Fresh Irrigation Parts to Keep an AquaFarm Dripping Evenly
The Terra Aquatica AquaFarm Spares kit is the one-pot set of irrigation parts for the AquaFarm, the larger of Terra Aquatica's (formerly GHE) classic air-lift drip systems, which the maker now sells as the CultiMate L (46 x 46 x 43 cm). It replaces the pumping column, drip ring and fittings that carry nutrient solution from the reservoir up to the clay pebbles, so a cracked, clogged or lost part does not mean buying a whole new system. In an AquaFarm an air pump pushes air into the base of the pumping column; the rising bubbles lift nutrient solution to the drip ring, which drips it back down through the clay pebbles and roots. That keeps the root zone constantly oxygenated for fast root development on very little power. The air pump is not included, as the AquaFarm itself is sold without one.

How to Use
- Empty and rinse the reservoir and lift off the culture pot.
- Remove the old parts and clean any salt build-up from the seats they sit in.
- Fit the new grommet, elbow and level indicator tube, securing the tube with the retaining clip.
- Seat the pumping column and push the drip ring's T-piece onto its top.
- Connect the airline from your air pump to the column's air inlet.
- Refill with nutrient solution and check the ring drips evenly all the way round before leaving it running.
