Description
An All-Stage Biostimulant for Vigorous Growth and Heavier Flowering
The Source Delta Boost Stimulator is the all-stage biostimulant in The Source range, the UK-made nutrient line developed alongside AutoPot Watering Systems. It is a proprietary blend of algal extracts, plant-sourced amino acids and glycine betaine, with natural plant steroids and their potentiators, including polyglucosides. Through vegetative growth it supports plant health and builds a strong structure; once plants move into flower or fruit it encourages the abundant formation of fruit and flower sites and the extra nutrient uptake needed to fill them. It runs at just 0.5 ml per litre in growth and 1 ml per litre in flowering, in soil, coco or hydro, on hard or soft water.
Key Benefits
- One additive for every stage — 0.5 ml/L in growth, 1 ml/L through flowering and fruiting.
- Algal extracts, amino acids and glycine betaine — plant-derived stimulants that support vigour and help plants cope with stress.
- More fruit and flower sites — promotes abundant, widespread site formation once flowering starts.
- Supports natural defences — formulated to help plants protect themselves against pests and disease.
- No artificial plant growth regulators — The Source range is made from plant-extracted ingredients.
- Any medium, any water — soil, coco and hydro, hard or soft water, and every watering method.
Weak Flowering and Poor Nutrient Uptake
Plants that grow strongly in veg can still set few flowering sites, or stall part-way through flowering because nutrient uptake cannot keep pace with demand. Heat, high light intensity and transplant shock make it worse. Delta works on the plant's own processes rather than simply adding more NPK: vigour and structure in growth, then site formation and uptake in flower, so the base feed you already use goes further and plants hold their momentum through to the end of the cycle. The maker reports it has been used and tested by leading UK horticultural universities.
How to Use
- Mixing order: add The Source Gro or Flo A and B first and set your EC, then add the stimulators. The maker expects EC to climb by about 0.4 to 0.7 once they go in, which is normal.
- Growth stage: 0.5 ml per litre at every feed, in soil, coco or hydro.
- AutoPot systems in soil: start at 0.2 ml per litre for the first three weeks of growth, then move to 0.5 ml.
- Flowering and fruiting: 1 ml per litre at every feed through the flowering schedule.
- Greenhouse crops such as tomatoes and chillies: 0.5 ml per litre until the first flowers set, then 1 ml per litre for the rest of the season.
- pH: set the reservoir to about pH 5.8 for soil and compost and about pH 5.6 for coco or rockwool, as The Source recommends.
- Shake well before measuring, and dose with a syringe for accuracy.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use Delta with another brand's nutrients?
The maker designed Delta as part of The Source programme and recommends running it with Gro and Flo rather than mixing in other additives, which can unbalance the feed.
Do I need an AutoPot system to use it?
No. It works with hand watering, drippers, NFT, flood and drain and AutoPot alike, in soil, coco or hydro; AutoPot simply publish extra feed charts for their gravity-fed pots.
Why does my EC go up after adding Delta?
The Source expects the stimulators to add roughly 0.4 to 0.7 to the EC you set with the A and B base. That rise is part of the design, so there is no need to dilute it back down.
Will it work with hard tap water?
Yes. The whole Source range is formulated for both hard and soft water.
